Why would anyone in his or her right mind want to walk on fire?

A.

Why not I say?

I feel; that we have many great opportunities to expand who we choose to be by what we are willing to go through. The Bible states," When you walk through fire, you will not be burned," Isaiah 43:1-4. If it is good enough to be written, then it is good enough for us to be part of this life experience.

Q.

How hot is the fire?

A.

The coals are heated to 1,200 degrees and higher for walking over. The use of a pyrometer verifies the heat. There are automobile engine blocks that are poured at this temperature.

Q.

How long is the coal bed at a typical Firewalk?

A.

Firewalking classes open to the public usually have coal beds between 8 and 12 feet long.

The longest coal bed on record was 167 feet long. However, a number of people have walked a 40-foot coal bed, back and forth, without leaving the coals, 13 times; accomplishing a 520-foot Firewalk.

Q.

What is the best book on Firewalking?

A.

A number of books discuss Firewalking history and other relevant topics. However, Tolly Burkan's book, Extreme Spirituality: Radical Approaches to Awakening, is the only book that explains how Firewalking is used today in current times.

Q.

Are children permitted to attend Firewalking classes?

A.

Our policy is you must be at least 18 years old. However we highly encourage the attendance of children. We allow children to attend, but will not allow them to actually walk. Just be present, and witnessing others walks, can be a life-changing experience.

Q.

Where did Firewalking originate?

A.

No one has found an answer to that question. Firewalking actually precedes written history. There are accounts of Firewalking within the Hawaiian Kahuna, who walked across lava flows. The Vikings are reported to have walked on red-hot steel chains. Native Americans and Fijians Firewalked, and a number of Christian saints were said to have Firewalked. It seems to be a part of many diverse cultures on a number of continents.

Q.

Using only your "self-hypnosis" techniques how long does it take for someone to actually do their first Firewalk?

A.

The 3-hour seminar teaches an individual everything they need to know to walk that same night!
